Growing up as an avid skateboarder in New York City during the 1980s, Keith Hufnagel felt considerably ostracized by his peers. His way of life was widely perceived to be disruptive and rebellious. This common misunderstanding proved to be a catalyst in Hufnagel’s life, ultimately leading him to create HUF.
Before starting up an independent store in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco in 1998, Keith Hufnagel flourished while skateboarding on the streets of New York before moving to San Francisco to follow his dreams. HUF is now proudly one of the most popular streetwear brands around.
